Foundations for Smart manufacturing

Optimizing manufacturing operations include improved equipment availability, enhanced productivity, better quality, lower costs, and greater innovation. The key to any successful smart manufacturing program lies in the factory data. Without data, securely extracted from a myriad of sources, delivered to the right application, at the right time – little optimization can happen. The network is the digital factory core that needs to securely manage data to make smart manufacturing possible. These principles are key enablers for any smart manufacturing effort

  • Simplicity: Simple network management for a more resilient, reliable network.
  • Interoperability: Flatten your industrial network and data architecture to reduce complexity and cost.
  • Intelligence: Industrial data transformation via distributed edge intelligence for timely action and relevant insight.
  • Security: Industry needs solutions which provide the visibility and control to reduce risk, protect IP and ensure production integrity.
